Use network centres for the wellness tests: at an approved non-network centre reimbursement is capped at ₹2,000, and at a non-approved centre nothing is reimbursed and no reward points are earned.
Gold costs more than Silver because it includes the wellness test cost, so compare that premium difference against what the two tests would cost you privately each year.
The day-one cover applies to hospitalisation arising out of diabetes and hypertension only, so any other pre-existing condition still waits 24 months and should be declared at proposal.
This configuration costs more than the 20% co-payment version, so compare the extra premium against what a 20% share of a realistic claim at your sum insured would actually cost you.
