Choose a Network Hospital

Select a hospital with which Liberty Health Insurance has a tie-up. Using the insurer’s website, app, or a call to OneAssure you may get help in finding a hospital. In a non-network hospital, you will have to pay first and then get your money back through a claim.

Inform OneAssure About Your Hospitalisation

In the case of an emergency, inform OneAssure within 48 hours. Planned treatments must be informed at least 3 days before. OneAssure acts as a liaison between the hospital and Liberty for your claim to get approved on time.

Carry Your Card and ID

Whether it’s the insurance or TPA desk, show them your health insurance card or digital policy on your phone, and a valid photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, voter ID, or passport).

Fill the Pre-Authorization Form

Some details such as your disease, treatment, and estimated cost will be mentioned in the pre-authorization form that the hospital staff will give to you. Usually, they do it for you, so your job is to check and sign it. OneAssure forwards it to Liberty for their consent.

Wait for Approval

Liberty evaluates whether your treatment is within the ambit of the policy or not. Approval is sent usually in 2–4 hours. However, in the case of an emergency, it may be done earlier.

Treatment and Bill Settlement

Once you have been treated, the hospital will prepare and send a detailed bill to Liberty. The amount of money that has been approved will be paid by a direct transaction. Out of your own pocket, you only give money for things that are not included in the coverage such as toiletries, or food.
