Waiting Period

Initial Waiting Period – 30 days from policy inception, except for accidental injuries.

Specified Illnesses & Treatments – A waiting period of 2 years applies to certain listed conditions and procedures.

Exclusions

Pre-existing diseases are not covered during the waiting period.
Injuries or illnesses caused by self-inflicted harm, suicide attempts, or substance abuse are excluded.
Cosmetic or aesthetic procedures, unless medically necessary due to accidents, are not covered.
Treatment for obesity, weight control, or related surgeries is excluded.
Injuries or conditions arising from participation in hazardous sports or activities are not covered.
