With sum insured options up to ₹3 crore, it includes in-patient hospitalization, pre- and post-hospitalization expenses, day care procedures, and domiciliary treatment. The plan covers maternity benefits, newborn baby care, and vaccination expenses. It also provides international treatment coverage for specified illnesses. Additional benefits include annual health check-ups, no room rent capping, and a loyalty bonus, ensuring complete financial security for medical needs.

Co-payment
Niva Bupa Heart Beat Platinum does not have a mandatory copayment for most claims. However, if the insured individual is a senior citizen or opts for treatment in a non-network hospital, a copayment clause may apply as per policy terms.
Room Rent
Normal: offers no room rent capping, meaning policyholders can opt for any hospital room, including private rooms, without any sub-limits. ICU charges are also fully covered up to the sum insured.

Waiting Period
- Initial Waiting Period: 30 days for all illnesses except accidents.
- Pre-existing Diseases (PED): Covered after 24 to 48 months, depending on policy terms.
- Specified Illnesses & Treatments: Subject to a 24-month waiting period for conditions like hernia, cataract, and joint replacements.
- Maternity Benefits: Available after a 24-month waiting period (if maternity cover is opted for)

Exclusions
Pre-existing diseases are not covered during the initial waiting period as specified in the policy terms.
Any illness or treatment arising within the first 30 days from policy inception, except for accidental injuries.
Expenses related to self-inflicted injuries, suicide attempts, or harm due to substance abuse.
Treatment for injuries or illnesses resulting from participation in hazardous or adventure sports.
Cosmetic or aesthetic procedures, including plastic surgery unless required due to an accident or medical necessity.
Treatment related to infertility, sterility, or any assisted reproductive procedures.
Expenses for obesity treatment, weight management procedures, or bariatric surgery unless medically necessary.
Treatment for mental disorders, psychiatric conditions, or behavioral issues unless specifically covered under the policy.
Injuries or illnesses resulting from war, terrorism, nuclear radiation, or biological weapons.
Experimental, unproven, or investigational treatments not recognized by medical authorities.
