Claim Settlement Process (Cashless Treatment Claim Process)

Step 1. Notify Go Digit General Insurance at least 48 hours before planned hospitalisation or within 24 hours of emergency hospitalisation.

Step 2. You’ll have to present your e-health card and get the pre-approval from any of Go Digit General Insurance Network Hospitals Helpdesk.

Step 3. Fill the form and submit it to the Helpdesk.

Step 4. Only after approval, will you be able to proceed with your medical treatment within 15 days of receiving authorisation.

Step 5. Following discharge, their network hospitals will send your bill to Go Digit General Insurance for direct settlement.

Claim Settlement Process (Reimbursement Treatment Claim Process)

Step 1. You will have to inform the insurer of the emergency hospitalisation within 24 hours or planned hospitalisation at least 2 days in advance.

Step 2. After discharge, you must pay all your bills and collect necessary documents.

Step 3. Get your documents signed and label them “For Digit Insurance” before uploading soft copies.

Step 4. You must upload all the necessary documents within 30 days of discharge.

Step 5. Go Digit General Insurance will have the payment processed within 30 days of receiving all the documents.

Discharge summary from the hospital

Medical records pertaining to the treatment

Original hospital bill

Itemised hospital bill

Original pharmacy bill along with prescriptions from outside the hospital

Reports from diagnostic tests and consultations

Digital copies of diagnostic procedures

Cancelled check for reimbursement

Valid photo ID for KYC purposes

Bank account details for reimbursement

For maternity claims: Birth discharge summary and prenatal records

For accident claims: MLC/FIR report

Post-mortem report (if applicable)

Disability or death certificate (if applicable)

Original invoice for any purchased items

Certificate from the attending doctor
