How does Global Health Cover work?

Global Health Cover pays for emergency hospitalization expenses incurred outside India. Coverage includes hospitalization expenses, AYUSH treatment, organ donor expenses, emergency air ambulance, Protect Benefit, Plus Benefit and e-opinion benefits. A ₹10,000 deductible applies per overseas claim.

What is Plus Benefit?

Plus Benefit automatically increases the Base Sum Insured by 50% after one policy year and by 100% after two policy years irrespective of claims made.

What is Automatic Restore Benefit?

If any admissible claim partially or fully utilizes the Sum Insured, the policy automatically restores 100% of the Base Sum Insured for future claims during the same policy year.

Does the plan cover home treatment?

Yes. Home Healthcare treatment is covered on a cashless basis when treatment would normally require hospitalization and is available in eligible cities.
