The Goal Of This Model Of Insurance Distribution Wasn't To Compete With Traditional Insurance Agents But To Serve A Segment Of The Population That Had Been Forgotten By Insurers. Qualification And Training:

The Minimum Education Requirement For A Health Insurance Agent Is 12th Grade. Their License Is Valid For Three Years After Passing The Irdai Exam And Completing Over 15 Hours Of Training. To Become A Posp, You Must Have Completed Class 10th. The Training Session Is 14 Hours, And The Exam Is Also Required, But They Are Granted A Certificate After Completing The Training.
